h2Ope:

The fact of the matter is that around 300 million people in China do not have safe water for drinking. The scarcity of clean water also means that in the whole of China, more than 750 million people do not have the means to practise proper sanitation.

Despite the rapid development in many cities, it remains that the rural areas in China are the hardest hit, and the villagers take a long time to recover from natural disasters – the people there do not often have the means or provisions to leave.

Lien Aid has taken teams to different regions in China to do its part in solving the water and sanitation crisis. Working with the Chinese officials and organisations, Lien Aid has taken a step towards helping these people better their lives and bringing them H2Ope.
